Accessibility review for National Strategies

Ben Logan - Published: 23rd Mar 2009 10:03 GMT

National Strategies sits within the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and has been managed by Capita for the Department since April 2005. When Capita took over the National Strategies contract this involved the transfer of over 300 staff, roughly half of whom make up the educational field force with the other half comprising the operational support services team based in Reading.

National Strategies came to us with requirements for testing several of their e-learning courses, some of which are delivered on CD Rom, and some of which are delivered online. They wanted us to complete technical testing, which includes, Usability, Functionality and Compatibility testing in a very short timescale. As some of the products were to be distributed on CD Rom, it was vital that out testing was completed within the timescale to allow the development agency to make any amendments, before the product went into regression testing and ultimately final release.

Testimonials

Ben is an excellent trainer in usability and improving the overall user experience of a website, and very personable. I would not hesitate to recommend Ben as a trainer when it comes to helping a business to improve its site navigation, and in conducting research in this area.
