Spotless interactive are a small testing agency specialising in the testing of new media such as web-based applications, multimedia, e-learning, e-commerce and email.
We are looking to recruit a software tester on a permanent basis to come in and run testing for one of our key accounts.

The role
The work primarily involves the testing of web-based applications for functionality and browser compatibility.
Previous experience of accessibility testing and a thorough understanding of the WCAG are essential. Good knowledge of front-end web technologies such as (x)HTML and CSS is expected, and knowledge of JavaScript and Flash would be very useful.
You will be responsible for the delivery of testing projects, which will involve a significant amount of hands-on testing. You will also be responsible for maintaining the high quality of the documentation we deliver such as the bug database and daily and final reports.
Experience
Suitable candidates are unlikely to have less than three years experience in software testing, preferably working on web-based applications. You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills. We deliver a large number of small projects to tight deadlines so the ability to maintain high quality work under pressure is essential.
Salary
This is a mid-level to senior role with a salary in the range £30k to £40k.
Location
You will be based in our Test Centre in South West London (Putney Bridge) on the outskirts of West London but may be required to work in other locations in the UK on occasions. The remuneration package is negotiable depending on experience.
We can only accept applications from candidates who already live in the UK and have a valid permit to work here. We do not wish to consider outsourcing this work this is a full time role. We have periodic requirements for testers at all levels so candidates are welcome to submit CVs for consideration in the future.
