Recruitment and office manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Recruitment and Office manager to join us on a permanent basis at our office in London (currently at Putney Bridge - we are moving to Old Street, East London later this year).

We need an all rounder to assist in general administrative support around the office and to assist in preparing our training course material and help with recruiting participants for our research projects.

This is a varied role within a small team and will suit enthusiastic, hardworking person with attention to detail.

Your responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with and assist the customer experience team. This can include any of the following:

  • Answering the phones and passing on enquiries to the relevant person.
  • Calling participants to invite them to take part in market research and usability testing sessions.
  • Preparation of training materials, course notes, CD Roms, delegate lists, name badges, binding, couriers and more.
  • Meet and great clients on user testing project days.
  • Liaise with participants on the day of user testing.
  • Schedule participants for user testing.
  • Organising couriers for portable usability lab.
  • Ordering refreshments and catering for courses.
  • Accounts assistance, chasing invoices, invoice tracking etc.
  • Managing stationary supplies and ordering.
  • Liaising with delegates booking on training courses.
  • Advertising training course on the relevant websites.
  • Taking minutes and preparing documentations for client meetings.
  • You will also assist in the pre and post set-up necessary for conducting research.

Your qualifications and experience:

Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role within a digital agency or similar.

You are expected to have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Computer skills are a must with medium to good typing skills. Experience with Office applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) and the Internet are required.

You must have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

What we are offering:

The position provides an annual salary of between £21-£25k. Applicants will preferably be London based and the working hours are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

The person will need to be self-directed and able to manage time effectively.
