GE Money - case study
Challenge to meet
As part of the General Electric family - GE Money, also known as GE Consumer Finance, is the personal finance provider of choice for over 130 million people worldwide. With a global presence across 55 countries, we have a rich history of providing fast, dependable financial solutions to both consumers as well as small to medium size businesses, retailers, auto companies and mortgage brokers.
GE Money came to us with requirements to building an intranet site for their Learning and Development department where employees could get information around their training plans for the future, including the current year and beyond. They wanted a resource that employees would feel comfortable using with the large number of staff apporaching the site from different demographics and technical backgrounds.
What we did
We performed a content audit and worked with the Learning and Development team to collate the relevant content. We worked on several design interations and these were presented to an internal committee who gave their feedback on what they did and did not like. Once we had agreed a direction we set about building the website and populating the HTML pages with the content and links to downloadable material.
How this was achieved
Benefits and outcomes
The site was very well received internally with large number of users visiting the site on initial launch and significant traffic revisiting the resource through the year, and particualry when new training budget and allocations were announced.
Spotless Interactive worked with us as our business partner, always going the extra mile to ensure our needs were met in a professional and timely manner. They worked closely with us to determine our exact requirements, executed within timelines and always displayed integrity and professionalism throughout our project.
